113 days until Ethan's due date...... OMG!

The last day of Week 23 :) 113 days until Ethan's due date........... OMG!

This week I have been up at school each day for trainings and meetings about the beginning of the new year! I am very excited about this year! I have 2 PreAP Science sections and I am department head, a lot of work but I'm excited for the challenge! However, I am a little nervous that the time will start to FLY BY now that school has started, and before I know it, it will be Thanksgiving! After Thanksgiving..... its BABY TIME!!!!!

Ethan has been kicking up a storm!!! 60% are how they have been.... but about 40% are newer, harder kicks! This kiddo is strong!! He is definitely more active in the morning, whenever I sit, and when I lay down at night. I am going back for my 25 week check up in a week to see how we are both progressing! We have also signed up for 2 classes at the hospital we will be delivering at to learn basic infant care and feeding. I think it will calm some of my nerves about things....... its one thing to help someone out... but its a complete other to be left alone to your own knowledge..... especially if you don't have any! haha I mean I've been around our friends and families babies.... but not 24/7......

My friend Caroline gave me a book that is HILARIOUS!!! I know i will be busting it out at 3am when the baby is crying, and I'm crying, to lift my spirits and make me laugh! If you haven't read this book... go this YouTube site http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CseO1XRYs9I ...Samuel L Jackson is on there reading the book out loud...... its so funny i was literately crying! makeup everywhere!! and apparently its more relatable if you already have kids too!

We went and bought the paint for the nursery yesterday!!!! EKKKKK!!! I think it is going to be so adorable!!! We are painting 3 walls a muted blue that matches the bedding and then the 4th wall we are painting an off white and having a baseball mural painted!!! I will DEF post pics after it is completed! I am so excited about it!

Monday is Meet the Teacher! Ill get to meet some of my new 6th graders!!! I can't believe its that time again to meet a new crop of kids!!! I'm nervous about the time off ill be taking and i have been trying to start to get things ready! I keep hearing stories of babies coming 5-6 weeks early.... and if you know me you know I'm a HUGE PLANNER and if this happens i will totally freak out! So everyone send positive thoughts to Ethan saying "stay put kiddo" until at least December 12 :)

Bye Summer... hello 23 weeks!!!

Goodbye Week #22!!!!

This week was a busy one!! MOnday I went to the Houston Zoo for my school's Leadership Retreat!!! It was a great time!!! On one of our breaks we were able to go out and feed the giraffes!!! Their tongues were like a foot long!!! I cant wait to go back to the Zoo when it cools off because I have never been!!

On Monday night my mom and brother came down to help me move and organize my classroom on Tuesday! We got all the big stuff done, thank goodness, in one day! Then we came home and relaxed, ate pot roast, and hung out with Ryan. Wednesday my mom and I went out to Babies R Us in Webster and I showed her some of the fun stuff we registered for since SO MUCH has changed since she had her last little one 20 years ago! Then we went to a fabric store to grab some fabric for her to make a baby blanket! She is also making me a maternity dress :) exciting! 

Thursday I went back up to school to organize and sort some stuff out... which was pretty unsuccessful since all i wanted to do was surf the web for baby stuff haha!!!

This week I found out the furniture we had wanted to order was DISCONTINUED!!! Needless to say I went into a preggo panic! But luckily we went looking on Saturday to Baby's 1st Furniture and found a GREAT set for Ethan to use for many years to come!!!

We also bough the Dresser/Hutch Combo and the Tall Chest!

We are very excited for it to all be here in 2-4 weeks!!! and even MORE excited for ETHAN to be here in a no later than 17 weeks!

Caroline met us up at Baby's 1st on Sunday as we were buying the furniture to say goodbye :( She was home for a while this summer and we were able to hang out a little bit but spent the majority of it in Kansas seeing family. I cannot believe it is already time for her to leave and go back to Dubai! I am going to miss her so much, but thank GOODNESS for Skype!!! It is so great to be able to see her and talk to her even though she is half the world away!!! I cant wait for her and Ethan to have their first Skype date in December!!!

Tomorrow I start back to school, and i can't believe this time is already here!! I know that once school starts the time will FLY and before i know it, it will be Thanksgiving, I'll be huge, and everything will be ready for him to arrive in December!!!

Soccer Player in our future!!!

We are finishing up week 21!!

This week the baby has been moving like a MAD MAN!!! Yes, I get the occasional flutter, but most of them are like game winning kicks! One was so strong in knocked the remote off my stomach!! It is definitely neat feeling it kick, although if he is this strong already I'm kinda scared to see what the October and November kicks will feel like!!

We went to the doctor for our anatomy scan and it went GREAT! We saw 10 tiny toes, 10 tiny fingers, his adorable little legs, spine, brain, heart pumping, and his adorable little forming face!!!

We haven't had an ultrasound in a while... and when we did back when he was 11 weeks old  he was measuring about 4-5 days ahead of schedule...... well THIS time he measured TEN, yes TEN days ahead of schedule!!! This kiddo is HUGE! EKKKK!!!

We finished up registering, which is very overwhelming! Who knew how many things you need to have a baby!! I decided to do Babies R Us, BuyBuyBaby, and Target.

My mom and brother Aaron are coming into town Monday night to help me set up my classroom on Tuesday! I am so glad to have the help since its harder for me to lift all the boxes and tables! Also Monday I am going to the Houston Zoo for our leadership retreat! Im excited because I have never been to the Zoo here!!

I cant believe that we only have 127 days (at the most the way this kiddo is growing) until we have a little one at the Dietz House!!! YAY!!!

Austin, Graduation, and in 133 days a BABY :)

This weekend I finally graduated!!!! I have been attending Concordia University since the Fall of 2010 to obtain my Masters in Education with an emphasis in Educational Administration. It has been a tough 18 months but I have been blessed with a supporting husband, family and great group of friends that believed in me!! I am now Rebecca Lynn Dietz M.Ed!!!! Hehe!!

Graduation was in Austin Texas on August 4, at Riverbend Centre near Lake Travis. My family traveled all the way to Austin to see me graduate!!! After graduation we went to eat at The Oasis! It was great, I love the view!!!

Then we went and grabbed yogurt and went back to the hotel for cards and presents :)

It was such a great weekend!! Now I have to start getting ready for school to start!! Only 133 days ( approx.) till Ethan is here!!!! CRAZY!!!
