Hello Second Trimester!

14 weeks and bumping right along!!!

This past weekend I traveled to Dallas to see my parents and for my Nana's 78th birthday party!!! It was so great to be able to celebrate with her and all the beautiful women in my family at her birthday TEA PARTY!!!

 My Papa even showed up to the party dressed all cute with flowers!!!

It was also fathers day! So i went with my family to see Promethus and then out to a late lunch at Campisi's!!! Love my daddy!!!

Today we went in for our 14 week check up!!! Everything sounded good with the little one and we are going back in 3 weeks to find out if we are having a little Miss or Mr!!!!!


Thursday (Today) one of my best friends Caroline is coming to visit from DUBAI!!!!! For those of you who don't know Caroline was my Lil Sis in AXO/college roommate and has been over in Dubai since last August teaching at the American School of Dubai! I have not seen her in a YEAR and I am SO EXCITED she is coming into town!! It was so great to catch up with her!

Sunday we are leaving for LAS VEGAS!!!!! This baby is gonna be born with luck in it's veins!! This is baby's second trip to Vegas and it's not even BORN YET!!! Throw some of your luck my way!!! Baby needs a set of shoes... and a crib.... and some bedding...... COME ON CRAPS TABLE!

First week of SUMMER!!!

Well this is the first week of Summer and we are 13 weeks along!!! 

Last September Ryan gave me a Wine Club membership for my birthday! Every quarter we receive a case of 12 different types of wine..... well, the shipment came in this week......

Hello my dear friends...... I'll see you in about 9 months......

Last weekend we went to Dallas to see our friends Lindsey and Sean get married and to celebrate Ryans big 30 with the family! The wedding was beautiful and baby and I hung in there till about midnight.... then it was night night time!

On our way back from Dallas on Sunday we stopped and took some pictures by this BEAUTIFUL field of sunflowers that we saw when we were driving to Dallas Saturday morning!  It was huge and the sunflowers were so TALL!!!

Hopefully we will find out what Baby Dietz is the week of July 4th...... We are going to the doctor next thursday for our check up appointment and I'm going to set the gender test when we are there. I cannot wait to find out!!!! I am so ready to have a name, a gender and to start BUYING STUFF for he/she to wear and for the nursery!!!

I have to say that I have had such a blessed first trimester!!! Beside the nausea at the beginning ( that i blame on the vitamins because it all stopped once i switched to taking them at night) I really haven't had that many issues/symptoms! Sometimes I forget that I am even Preggo.........at least until i look down!! I am hopeful that I regain some energy that I have been lacking as of late, because baby can't be napping the whole time in VEGAS!!! Trust me, ill def be taking it easy and if I am really tired, I'll nap, but i also want to be able to enjoy Vegas and our time there with family and friends!

Only 28 free weekends left!!

WOW! Well we are moving right along into the second trimester! This week baby Dietz is about the size of a large plum!

Looking a little rough.... last Monday of the school year!!! Exciting!!

So I received some HUGE news today!! I PASSED my Principal State Exam by scoring a 275 out of 300 points!!!! I am so excited and relieved to have that weight lifted off my shoulders!! Now i just have 1 1/2 courses left and will graduate on August 4th with my Masters in Educational Administration! The year 2012 is bringing a wealth of amazing things into our lives and we feel so blessed and excited!!

This weekend we are again traveling to Dallas for our friends Lindsey and Sean's wedding!! Then our wedding season is done..... that we know of :)

Then it is off to Vegas June 24-27 to celebrate Ryan's 30th birthday!!!! This will be baby's SECOND time to Vegas in his/her short life already! Baby went to Vegas back in March for Tacie's Bachelorette Party... but was only about 4-5 days "old"..... WHEW!  But if Vegas is any judge this is gonna be one lucky kiddo :) This will be a "different" trip for me since I probably won't be able to hang as long as I normally can since I am tired ALL THE TIME! But I am excited to experience Vegas in a different way than I have the past 3 times I have gone! I kinda want to see a show.... but i have NO CLUE which one! Any suggestions? I am bummed that I can't shop for baby since we probably won't know the gender till sometime in July!

This is the last week of school and then this preggo can start getting the NURSERY READY!!!! I have seen so many adorable ideas online and I cannot wait to start decorating!!! Also they are building a BuyBuyBaby in Houston! I am really excited and hope that it is open in time for us to register there!!!
