Week 19... OMG it's almost August!

I cannot believe that August is almost here! That makes December seem right around the corner!!! This week we are 19 weeks along!

This week I went to finally see the movie What to Expect When Your Expecting with my other mommy to be friend Melissa... pretty cute!!! It had all sorts of scenarios and it made me excited but also a little nervous at the same time!!!!

I have been trying to go ahead and get started on my maternity plans...easier sad than done....
I have no idea who will be my long tern sub and I don't want anything t go wrong because of my lack of planing while im gone! I want to be able to relax and learn while I'm out and not have to be stressed about whats going on at work!! I have about 2 1/2 weeks "done" but its so hard to plan for another person!!! Fingers crossed I will get someone great who I can meet with before hand to ease my concerns. Once school starts I have a feeling the months are going to either fly by or slowly move like a snail!

I think we will be registering at Target, Babies R Us and Buy Buy Baby. The Buy Buy Baby will be opening in Houston on September 1! Who knew there were so many things you needed to have a little kiddo! My friend Taryn let me borrow her C preggo pillow and it seems to be helping me sleep :) Thank goodness!!!

Next weekend is a big weekend because we are traveling to Austin for my GRADUATION!!!! YAY!!!

Then we will be going the week of August 6th for our anatomy scan and to see the little boy!!!! Can't wait!!

Week 18 and counting!

We are in our 18th week!

This week has been a busy one for me! I had a training Tuesday- Friday 8-4 for my PreAP Science classes. BUT THE BEST part about this week was that it was my LAST week of Graduate school EVER!!! I cannot believe that I am finally done! I will be graduating August 4th in Austin!

The party last weekend was such a great day! It took me a couple of days to recoup from all the excitement!!! I was SO TIRED!! But baby boy is such a lucky and blessed little one already! We have decided on the name Ethan Edward Dietz for our new little one!! The photographer is mailing me the disk of pictures so hopefully next week I will have lots to share!

Now we have to begin our registering journey.............. WOW!! Who knew there are so many things you need when you are having a baby!!! I don't even know where to start! But lucky for us we have a great group of new parents that have great suggestions for us! 

Hopefully soon we will pick out furniture and settle on a nursery theme!! Next week I will finally get to relax and hopefully focus on beginning to make my maternity lesson plans for when I am out!! I cannot believe that I am almost halfway done with the pregnancy!!!

Sunday we went to Katy Mills Mall and little Ethan cleaned up!!!!! Baby clothes are soooo cute! but $$$!!! Luckily they had a Carters, Children's Place and Gap OUTLET! I think I got my shopping for the baby out of my system for a little bit... i know we will get lots of clothes...  I just wanted to get some NOW! :) haha

My second trimester is going great!!! Now if only December would hurry up and get here!!! I wanna see my little man!

Bouncing Boy or Gorgeous Girl? It's a........

This week is a very exciting week! We are at 17 weeks and the big milestone this week is that we are finding out the gender!!!!!!! 

 This week I am attended a week long training for incoportating and supporting reading in the classroom. The training was from 8:30-3:30 M-F. I am also in my last two weeks of Grad school EVER!!!!!! So this has been a busy week for me!!!! We are also having a gender reveal party on Saturday!!! How much can I cram into one week right??????

 We are having family and close friends over to the house for food, drinks, cake and the BIG REVEAL!!!!!!! We went to the doctor on Tuesday for the gender ultrasound.... It was so hard not to look..... But baby made it harder by not cooperating AT ALL!!!! The first time we tried baby was butt down... As if saying... "Ha Ha you think I'm gonna make this easy?? Do you know who I am??? Don't you wish you knew :) well the ultrasound tech knew we were having the party, and how much of a psycho I am, so she sent us back to the waiting room to see if he/she would move. About 10 minutes passed and then we tried again..... Still being a little Drama king/queen.... Was butt down, legs crossed, tongue out.... Ok not really, but I imagined thats what it was doing!!! So back to the waiting room we go.... This time armed with a sucker to suck on..... Well 3rd time was a charm!!! I guess the baby finally decieded that play time was over and it was time to reduced mommy's anxiety!! The tech placed the ultrasoundd into a folder and we were on our way!!!

16 weeks and counting!!!

Well this week we are 16 weeks along!!! This was taken at the end of the week... and there is NO denying I'm preggo now..... That belly got HUGE!!!!!

CRAZY that I am in the 2nd trimester and even CRAZIER that soon we will know of Little D is a Miss or Mr.!!!! I can't wait to find out the gender so we can start looking at furniture, paint, bedding, etc..... I think we are having a boy. Every time I picture it hanging out in "there" or read about how he/she is growing I imagine a boy....... so I guess we will see! I will be ecstatic with whatever Baby turns out to be! Im just an impatient mama that wanted to know 4 months ago!!! Haha

Well this week I have been getting stuff ready for Ryan's sisters garage sale! I can't believe how much JUNK Ryan and I have, throw a kid and there and i dunno where we will put stuff!!! So hopefully people wil find treasure in all our old stuff and non of it will come home with us. Well, regardless if it doesn't sell, its getting donated, so it will all find a new home soon!

I was hoping my graduate class was going to be easy... being the last one and all..... but no. I mean its not really a hard topics.... Ethics.... just a lot of assignments. SO when you have class twice a week the turn around is very quick! But I took a day and did NOTHING except school work and knocked out all the assignments but 1! I can't believe that in less than a month I will be graduating!!! I am so excited and ready to have some of my time back.... even if it is only for 5 more months... to start to get ready for the BABY!!!

We are finding baby's gender out next week....... EKKK!!!!

Vegas Vacation and 15 weeks!!

Well we just got back from VEGAS!!! We had a blast! It wasn't as difficult to have fun in Vegas preggo  as I thought! We stayed at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino and it was great! While we were there we hit 15 weeks!!

Our room was comfy, the hotel was beautiful and the location was great! The first day we arrived in Vegas at around 10 and were able to check into our rooms at 11. We went upstairs and changed and then grabbed quick bite to eat. Then it was on to gamble!!! We had dinner at a Pampas restaurant inside the Planet Hollywood Miracle Mile Shops. It was pretty good and the pasta was GREAT!! Then we went out to the Gallery club inside Planet Hollywood..... ehhhhh it was ok.... the coolest thing was it had these huge nets hanging above the dance floor with iron circles around them, kinda like a netted trampoline, These girls would then climb inside the nets and do really cool acrobatic/cirque de solei stuff inside... but that was it... we left and went back to the tables!

The next day the boys played golf and the ladies shopped, gambled and had some Daiquiris! hold the vodka please :) Then we all headed to the pool to relax! That night we saw ZUMANITY!!! It was different... to say the least... imagine Cirque de Solei... minus half the clothes mixed with 50 shades of grey...... haha

The next day we walked around and did some gambling at the Flamingo and Bills Saloon! Then some of the girls went to eat at Serendipity!!! YUMMY Grilled Cheese with Tomato soup and Frozen Hot chocolate for dessert!!! FABULOUS!!! We met up with Ryan's mom and aunt for the Planet Hollywwod buffet for dinner. It was pretty good!!

The trip was great and preggo hung in there!!! It wasn't hard not drinking in Vegas because we were never JUST doing that... it was drinking and gambling, drinking and eating... etc... so besides my blue skinny jeans being PRETTY tight... sometimes i forgot I was preggo!!! I really never got tired either, which was something i was worried about happening. It did however take me about 2 days to fully recuperate when we got back!

My LAST graduate class started the Tuesday while i was in Vegas, so I missed day 1. This is a fast track course where I go 2 times a week for 4 weeks... THEN I AM DONE!!!! I can't wait!!!! Well, I'm off to read my 2 textbooks... YAY!!!
