Months 5 and 6!!

These last 2 months have been SO BUSY!!! With school wrapping up I havent had a chance to update! But MAN! this "little" man is growing!!!

Here he is at 5 months

and here he is at 6 months!!!!!!!! 28 inches long and 19 pounds 12 ounces ( although as I write this he is already up to 20 pounds 9 ounces)

He has started talking/babbling up a storm and is sitting up!!!!! ( not 100%...... but definitely attempting it)

Happy Mothers day!!! Ryan made me an AMAZING breakfast of spinach and goat cheese omelet, homemade hash browns, toast, and a bloody mary! They also gave me a gift card for an awesome massage! I will definitely be booking that ASAP!

So in the span of 2 months so much has changed!!! Ethan is now starting to "try" to crawl........ so that will be a WHOLE NEW adventure!!!

Ethan has finally begun to recognize Toby and is just FASCINATED with him. He will just sit and stare at him. He has discovered his feet and love to stick them in his mouth... along with EVERYTHING ELSE!!!! He still doesnt have any teeth....... but i feel them coming! We have been doing solids with him for almost 1 1/2 months. So far he has had avocado, sweet potatoes, pears, peas, and bananas. Green beans are up next!!! He is a good eater and loves his food time! Currently we are wearing 9 month clothes, and 12 month pajamas. This kid is growing so fast!!! Its crazy that he is already 1/2 a year old! I think about how much has changed in the last 6 months and realize this is just the beginning!!!

4 month old little CHUNKY MONKEY!

This past month my little monkey has grown SO MUCH!!!! He weighs almost 16 pounds!

I cannot believe that it has been a year since we learned that we would be blessed with this little man and have our lives changed forever!!

Ethan has pretty much grown out of his 3 month clothes.... and has been wearing 6 month clothes since about a week after he turned 3 weeks old!! Its crazy how fast he is growing!!!

He is adjusting to daycare pretty well, and he seems to have a great time there! Two of his cousins also go to the day school and they check in on him everyday and let me know that they are taking care of him :) SO CUTE!

Adjusting to going back to work has been good, just exhausting!

My long time friend Tacie came in to visit over Spring break and see Ethan!! It was so great to see her!! We went shopping, had sushi, relaxed, caught up and drank wine!!! I miss her so much!!

My parents came into town to babysit Ethan so we could go to a wedding! Our college friend, and groomsmen in our wedding, Russell was married this weekend to his bride Amber! It was great time!!! However, partying till 1 am and then coming home to a crying baby....... hangover multiplied! But it was GREAT to see some college friends and have some adult time!!

The next day my parents and Ryans mom went to the mall and Ethan had his first visit with the Easter bunny!!! Thank goodness Pat got their early and grabbed us a spot in line!! He did great! He is looking more and more like Ryan each day!!! It was pretty funny though to watch kids wave at the bunny from a distance and smile and laugh... and once they got into "the seat" FREAK OUT!!!!! poor person inside that suit.......

Ethan is SO CLOSE to doing so many things!!! He ios almost rolling over, almost holding his head up, acting like he wants to sit up and becoming aware of everything around him!

He is such a BIG BOY already! I cannot believe he is 4 months old!
